Clyde grew up on a farm in Pennsylvania and worked for 21 years with dairy cattle, beef cattle, chickens, and the things they need to eat. Having retired from a long career as an engineer and physicist developing medical ultrasound imaging equipment and teaching high school as a second career, he is pursuing volunteer opportunities that match his passions with the needs of the world. He is a Christian that accepts all people as children of God and values the possibility of learning from people of all faiths and no-faith. He believes that people have lost their spiritual center in part because they no longer experience God’s creation first hand, and do not understand that it is the source of all that we have. He believes that The Land is a way to help people rediscover God’s hand in our midst and to help us all become better stewards of the earth.
