Meet our leadership

  • Frank Garred (he/him/his)

Frank is an Aurora resident who has a passion for investing in the future of the church. Serving as the Lay Leader of Hope United Methodist Church, Frank builds bridges between traditional and innovative expressions of what it means to be the church.

  • Becca Boone (she/her/hers)

Becca deeply connects to The Land and is committed to transformative food systems. She graduated from The Iliff School of Theology with an M.A. in Social Change Movements in 2013. As a member of The Land's Board of Directors, she has seen the growth and change of the church and is dedicated to The Land's mission and vision.
She works at the Colorado Department of Education in School Nutrition, overseeing local purchasing and farm-to-school efforts statewide. Originally from Dallas, TX, Becca went to college in Arkansas and moved to Denver for graduate school. In her spare time, she and her husband tend to their backyard homestead of chickens, bees, and fruit trees.

  • Dave Stephens (he/him/his)

I’m a husband, father, grandfather, trumpeter, photographer, finance guy and excited to be part of The Land faith community.

  • Rev Dr. Patti Agnew (she/her/hers)

Patti was born and raised on the beaches in southern California. She has served 14 churches in all kinds of communities from small rural communities in Colorado and Montana, to the suburbs of Denver in Aurora and Broomfield, as well as in Helena, Montana, and Colorado Springs. She also planted a church and served on the New Church Development team for the Rocky Mountain/Mountain Sky Conference for over 15 years. Along the way, she studied and earned her Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary. Currently she is serving as the senior pastor at Smoky Hill UMC in Centennial.

Patti brings all that experience to serve on our Board. She first stepped foot on the land in the Fall of 2006, when she helped lead worship services to maintain the tax-exempt status for the land. She has advocated for, supported, and participated in the development of what is now The Land and is honored now to serve on the Leadership Board.
